Venting Merrily Along

It's been pretty busy around here.  I did 2 skits for Keys for Kiddos and submitted my first round audition to NBC casting for a reality based show on ventriloquism.

1920's Themed KEYS FOR KIDDOS

The first pilot episode for this season is a 1920's themed show. I did a short traveling bit in a mocked up model A car. It was great fun and reminded me of the things That Edgar Bergen used to do. I used both Corky and Bosworth in the bit, which I can do for video but not in live performance since they are both made for operation with my right hand. Here are some behind the scenes shots and a final composite.

HALLOWEEN comes to Harmony Key

We shot a short Halloween hayride bit for Keys for Kiddos this past weekend. It all went very well despite me being under the weather with a sinus infection.  I'll be doing 2 more skits for Keys for Kiddos next week-- One will be a road trip in a model A car with Corky and Bosworth for their 1920's themed show and another one with the Kiddos of Harmony key!

Dudley!

I am working on a new character for KEYS FOR KIDDOS. Dudley my bumpkin rabbit. This will be a first for me! I have never used a bumpkin character before. I'm planning on homageing the simple fun that Edgar Bergan had with his delightful Mortimer Snerd character. Stay Tuned! Below are pictures of Dudley's progress in the Dummy workshop.
